20% HELI FUEL..IS IT OK 2 USE?

I GOT A LOAD OF 20% NITRO HELI FUEL OFF A GUY FOR MY 1/10 NITRO TRUCK & I WAS WONDERING IF THERE IS ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HELI FUEL AND CAR FUEL...THE REASON I ASK IS BECAUSE IT SEEMS TO RUN A BIT ODD...FOR INSTANCE THE IDLE SPEED GOES WAY UP AFTER IT HAS BEEN ON FULL THROTTLE FOR A SECOND OR 2 & IT CUTS OUT MORE THAN I WOULD LIKE..IVE USED 16% & 25% CAR FUEL WHICH DIDNT HAVE THAT PROBLEM.

Hello,

I would not advise the use of Heli fuel in cars. This is because the chemical construction of it defers from Car fuel one of which been a lower oil content, this could lead to damaging your engine.

ARE U SURE..BECAUSE I HAVE 4 GALLONS OF IT...LOL...AWW WELL GUESS I'LL TRY AND UNLOAD IT ON SOME1 ELSE

I'm positive... you will never be able to tune a car engine on heli fuel.

I used heli fuel in a monster truck before and could never keep the engine cool. It would overheat, stall and I could never tune it right.

Yeah its due to the low oil content in heli fuel they got more air cooling

I think it depends on your Heli fuel .
I have a 1/8th nitro buggy which will only run cleanly on 15% Cool power heli fuel. I can`t get it to run on car fuel ?

Really depends on the engine. If your engine is tuned properly it will run correctly on car fuel. For buggies Merlin have a buggy fuel also.
