I suggest going to Ballymoney for Rd6 of the NWMCC HoBao Championship on the 8th August and testing on the track, I will hopefully be going up but unsure at the moment.

i always ran a roll bar when i raced 1/10 in Annes. Best thing for you to do is next day to run a heat or two and then stick it into the car for a run and see does the car feel better or worse.

ballymoney is a shorter track so you want to gear your car down a bit, usually 1 or 2 teeth, it also has high grip, so you want to have harder suspension springs, i use the same shore tyres at ballymoney as in dublin, people say the tyre wear is very high at ballymoney, it is higher than dublin but its not too bad, if you use too hard of a tyre it spins up more easily and a tyre which is spinning will wear out faster. if you have any bring spare exhaust gaskets as these are a regular breakage due to the close proximity of the track to the outer wood markings.

as mentioned above, there will be racing in ballymoney on the 8th of august which is a North West Model Car Club, Club roud, this is the week before the national and would be a very good oppourtunity to get your car setup and learn the track as its very much different to st annes. I have heard that the new piece of motroway from dublin and vise versa opened on thursaday so it should now be quicker and easier to travel aswel.

so if I good understand, is no point to change more settings like only harder springs?? what about downstops, camber and roll center? leave it same like for st annes?
im not able to go to ballymoney 8th i think... ill be thinking about it but i think i cant make it...
and one more, use normal front diff or like in st annes solid axle?
